Design
The steel and zinc alloy used in the fabrication of the body gives it a solid, gleaming appearance. It has a good amount of weight, which adds to its durability and quality.
Externally, it seems to be a relatively basic system. Because there is no button, this is a draw-activated device. An LED light and a micro-USB charging connector are located on the device’s front and side. There is a tiny ventilation opening on either side of this gadget.
NS Mesh Coils
Here, the NS Mesh coils are the headline attraction.
For the last three years, the Freemax team has been working on the Maxpod, a small device that incorporates mesh coil technology from the company’s successful Freemax and Fireluke tanks. It’s worth mentioning that the Fireluke tanks have some of the most excellent flavored tanks on the market because of their incredible coils.
With this coil, you may use nic salts or freebase e-liquids. Technically, any coil can utilize both forms of nicotine. Still, Freemax tested various VG/PG ratios to ensure that the freemax maxpod coils gave the same taste and performance regardless of the liquid used. This strikes me as a fairly original concept.
NS Mesh 1.0-ohm coil
Use a 1.0-ohm coil with nic salts and freebase nicotine liquids with 20-30mg nicotine salts to get the finest flavor. In that range, the taste and vapor quality should be the same.
NS Mesh 1.5-ohm coil
In general, the 1.5-ohm coil is best for liquids with 30-50mg nicotine salts and 12-24mg free base nicotine.
Taste Review
Freemax suggests utilizing VG/PG ratios of 50/50, 40/60, or 60/40 liquids if you’re taking nicotine salts. That’s why if you want high salt nicotine content, you’ll need lower VG, although it’s still OK up to 60 percent.

The Pod

Airflow

This is an excellent vape, but the airflow is slightly looser than I want, but it still hits well. Also, in order to tighten the draw even further, I’ve been sealing one of the air intake holes on the intake pipe. You could even cover one or both of those holes using the provided lanyard ring.
Battery
Maxpod is equipped with a 550mAh battery that powers the device.
You should be aware that when charging, Freemax provides an information card in the package that advises you not to smoke this device. Remember that, and you’ll be OK!
The battery life is shown via the front-facing LED light. As a general rule, white indicates a full charge, blue indicates a medium charge, and red indicates that you need to recharge it.
Conclusion
The Maxpod is an exceptionally well-designed pod system. It’s easy to use, and it looks fantastic too! The only thing that annoys me in terms of cons is the airflow. It could have been a bit tighter, in my opinion. It’s a simple solution to plug one of the small intake holes. The coils in the Maxpod’s atomizers are also a strong selling point.
You can tell that the developers did a great job.
