ALD Awarded the Golden Leaf Award for "Reducing Environmental Impact Innovation Award".

ALD was honored to participate in the 12th Global Tobacco and Nicotine Forum (GTNF) held in Washington, D.C from September 27-29, 2022. As one of the most influential forums in the global tobacco industry, the GTNF conference this year focused on the theme of "Accessing Innovation", inviting industry representatives, public health experts, industry-renowned media and other outstanding representatives to attend the summit.

GTNF focuses on the current dilemma and opportunities of the tobacco industry, and organizes joint exchanges and discussions on technological innovation and the industry's mission. Through more than a dozen important dialogues with different contents, the Forum will hold lively discussions on the current situation of various smoking populations, policy differences, technological innovation, sustainable development and other topics, thereby promoting positive changes and development in the tobacco industry.

In recent years, many authorities have recognized that electronic fogging equipment is a harm reduction alternative to tobacco, while the improper production and use of electronic fogging products will also have a certain impact on the environment. In order to build a sustainable world, ALD has been hunkering down to create innovative ESG products, actively cooperating with suppliers and various business partners to accelerate innovation and develop a series of eco-friendly e-nebulizer products. In this summit, ALD expert representatives shared our understanding and practice of ESG.

ALD Senior Scientific Expert Panel Discussion - Products: Innovation for Tomorrow

ALD's Green Cig product, based on research into materials and structural design, is a low-carbon disposable product that can reduce carbon emissions to about 60% of those of similar products. The product mainly relies on the selection of low carbon emission materials and increased recycling ratio to reduce CO2 emissions, and is an excellent low carbon solution in the field of disposable products. Recently, ALD has developed an upgraded version of Green Cig2 based on Green Cig, which is a low-carbon electronic atomization product with bullet replacement, and the product is now in the reliability verification stage.

In addition, ALD's ESG team has also conducted long-term tracking studies on greenhouse gases and other environmental hazards (such as dust, soil and groundwater pollutants) generated in the production of electronic atomization equipment, in order to more accurately assess the ecological impact of electronic atomization and target continuous improvement, hoping to contribute to the construction of a more environmentally friendly ecology of the electronic atomization industry through a little bit of its own growth. We hope that through our own growth, we can contribute to a more environmentally friendly ecology of the electronic fogging industry.
