Itsuwa’s Vapesoul Vone 230W is a high-powered dual-battery mod that comes with a beautiful color LCD display and an ergonomic power button you can use horizontally or vertically. In addition to advanced features like temperature control and adjustable TCR, the Vone 230W is compatible with a smartphone, so you can easily find either of them if you have forgotten where you left them.

A Look at the Vapesoul Contents

As part of the Vapesoul Vone kit, the company provides a matryoshka doll-style cardboard box containing two smaller boxes, one for accessories, the other for the 230W mod and the Vone tank.

The user’s handbook, a micro-USB cable for on-board charging and software upgrades, and a battery safety card are all contained in the smaller box. The Vapesoul Vone 230W mod, the Vone 2.5 ml tank, a spare coil-head, a spare glass tube, and o-rings are all included in the main box.

Design and quality

The Vone mod measures 85.5 x 53 x 31 mm and is mostly built of zinc alloy. Although it is slightly wider than popular devices like the SMOK Alien or the newer SMOK Procolor, it falls into the category of mid-size dual battery mods. In comparison to sharp-edged-mods like the new VooPoo Alpha One, the Vone’s bevelled edges and curved form make it incredibly pleasant in the hand. It’s not the tiniest or lightest dual-battery mod on the market, but it’s certainly one of the most comfortable.

Itsuwa’s newest vape mod comes in four colours: black, white, red, and grey, all of which have a matte paint finish. Both the side display and the smaller “+” and “-“ button panels come with protective plastic films.

The enormous fire button is one of the mod’s finest features. It spans the entire upper corner opposite the 510 connector and may be squeezed both vertically and horizontally because it stretches both on the top and side of the device. That means you’ll be able to quickly press the button and activate the battery no matter how you hold the mod. Is this the most attractive button? No, it’s enormous and doesn’t really stand out, but it’s fantastic in terms of usability and ergonomics.

Even if you screw an atomizer on too tight, the 510 connection has a small raised metal platform that protects you from damaging the mod’s paint job. Unfortunately, due to the elevated metal ring around the connector, your atomizer will not sit flush against the device.

A beautiful 1.3-inch colour LED display is included with the Vapesoul Vone 230W mod. The screen brightness can be adjusted in the settings, but it is set to maximum brightness by default. Behind all of the technical data is an artistic background with an ominous sky and some lightning.

The wattage/temperature display takes up most of the screen, making it simple to read even from a distance of a few feet away, but there are also twin battery indications, a puff timer, real-time voltage, resistance, and a mode symbol.

Overall, the design is really strong; there is no rattling, and the ergonomic design is very comfortable to hold.

The Menu System and Navigation

Keep the “+” and “-“ buttons pressed for two seconds to bring up the main menu. Here you can choose between Power/Wattage Mode and Temperature Mode for three supported materials (nickel, titanium, and stainless steel), establish and save the TCR for two separate atomizers, and use the “Find My Phone” feature.

The second option can be accessed by rapidly pressing the fire button three times. Screen brightness, screen shutoff time, screen dimming time, checking the firmware version, and upgrading the device are all available here.

Keep in mind that the “+” and “-“ buttons are used to navigate among the various options, while the “fire” button is used to input changes.

Performance and battery life

Because this is a variable wattage device that is compatible with different capacity 18650 batteries, we can’t say much about battery life. It’s the power output, the batteries used, and how frequently the Vapesoul Vone is used that determine how long the battery will last.

Although the Vapesoul Vone supports on-board battery charging, we recommend using a specialised battery charger whenever feasible for your safety.

The Vapesould Vone has a top power output of 230W, which is a little greater than other dual-18650 mods.

Vapesoul Vone Tank

The Vapesoul Vone 230W mod is the headline of this box, but the tank it comes with is very intriguing. It’s a sub-ohm tank with a 2.5 mL capacity with a unique top-filling method and bottom airflow. It has a similar appearance to the SMOK Baby Beast tank and even uses the same coil heads. Baby Beast coils are also suitable with the Vone tank, so if you can’t find any Vapesoul coils, those will suffice.

The Vone tank’s top filling system, which is about how it locks and unlocks, is perhaps its most outstanding feature. It has two gold buttons on the top cap that must be pressed simultaneously to access the fill port. The top cover will fly up as soon as you apply pressure to those buttons, allowing you to pour juice into the tank through a huge slot. When you’re finished, simply press down on the top cap until it locks into place.

Because of a metal hinge similar to that employed by SMOK on their TFV line of tanks, the top cover stays attached to the tank at all times, but the locking function is somewhat unique.

The drip tip is Ultem, and while it appears to be a normal 510, it is not. It’s also not an 810; it’s a unique drip tip designed specifically for this tank. So, if you’re planning to use the Vone with your favourite drip tip, you’ll be disappointed.

The Vapesoul Vone kit also includes two Kanthal coil heads with a 0.15 resistance rating. They can be used at wattages ranging from 40 to 120 watts, but Itsuwa suggests vaping them at 50 to 110 watts.

The meaty coils, together with the plentiful air flow through the slots at the bottom of the Vone tank and the quick power of the 230W, produce a lot of vapour, so if that’s important to you, you won’t be disappointed. Unfortunately, the flavour of the Vone tank isn’t quite as good. It’s not that the flavour is unpleasant; it’s simply that it’s not as strong as I’d want.

Overall, this is a good tank that sticks out because of the top cap’s clever locking feature. It generates good vapour and produces a lot of it, but there are obviously better tanks out there.

Conclusion

The Vone kit from Vapesoul is indeed a breath of fresh air. The “Find My Phone” feature is far more valuable than most people know, and it works just as it should. The Vone has a lot going for it even without this capability. This is a truly strong item, from the material quality and ergonomic design to the quick firing, so if you’re prepared to take a chance on a relatively obscure company, we think you’ll find it worth your money.
